If you set your ride heights with your vehicle on scales that do not use cross plates, you can attach blocks that are the same height as your scales to the bottom of the ride height gauge, and you will then get your true ride height readings. Simply position the gauge so that the pivot arm is located under the point where you will measure the ride height. Release the pivot arm up against the ride height location. The ride height is displayed on the height scale. As the ride height is adjusted, the changes are dynamically displayed on the height scale. Always use the exact same measuring points on the vehicle to assure measuring consistency.
