Bump-Steer is the measurement of toe change as the suspension travels up and down. Usually none or only a small amount is preferable. The RPW bump-steer gauge has a unique design that allows you to measure bump-steer in two ways: the traditional method that requires you to remove the spring and/or shock from the suspension, and the second method, which uses a universal adapter that mounts to the tire and wheel assembly to take the measurement while the car is completely assembled. The unit comes with a bump-steer plate which allows you to drill it to fit any vehicle bolt pattern. The bump-steer gauge includes two accurate dial indicators, drillable hub plate, wheel and tire assembly adapter, bump-steer plotting graph and instructions.
