Motolights are designed as additional lighting in conjunction with the OEM headlamp of the motorcycle. In daytime, they create 2 additional distinct points of light (not unlike the ditch lights required on locomotives) to increase the conspicuity of the motorcycle to other vehicles. The OEM headlamp will light the outside of the corner (where you don't want to go) while the Motolights light the path you are following through a corner. They use MR16 halogen lamps, 35watt, with an 8-degree beam spread (among the narrowest spots in MR16 lamps) made by one of the premier lighting manufacturers. Motolights offers free lamp replacement to the original purchaser. The housings are cast aluminum, CNC machined, and come in brushed, black powder coated, polished or chrome finish. Brackets are machined from 6061-T6. Mounting brackets are precision machined from aircraft gradealuminum and are specifically designed to be mounted on the motorcycles caliper. The kit comes complete with all necessary hardware, cable ties, hex head wrench, 3M inline wire tap, illustrated instructions and an 800 phone number if you have problems.
