Spin-On

We now offer a CM billet aluminum spin-on filter housing that is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. These housings are 30 percent lighter than the cast aluminum and they feature a smaller, 3" diameter barrel with a screw-in endcap. Housings have a blue anodized finish. CM spin-on filters use the same high flow and fine filtration element that top racing teams depend on in their CM remote filters. The CM spin-ons give high performance results without the extra lines and fittings required by remote filters. They're ideal for applications where room fro a remote is limited or the simplicity of a spin-on is desired. These housings will not burst under pressure surges and they can stand up to the rough service of dirt or off-road racing.

Applications: The housings are manufactured in two different sizes. Our CAN-25200 series filter housing is 4-1/4" long, 3-1/2" in diameter and accepts our CM-15 2-5/8" high, 8-micron element, which flows 15 GPM of hot engine oil with no loss of pressure. The equivalent of 4 H.P.-type filters in flow rate and filtering capacity, these filters can handle the largest automotive requirements.
